Where Can I Buy Window Visor Screws?

I accidentally broke one of the plastic screws that you use to install the window visor. I went to the honda dealership, but they told me that they only come with the set and you can't buy them separately. I don't know the name of the screw, but it is the kind where you use your thumb to push the top piece through the bottom piece and the bottom piece pops open into 4 parts to keep the window visor in place.

If it isn't possible at all, perhaps the PC motherboard screws with a washer and bolt would work, but I can't seem to find black ones that blend in with the window visor either.

HARDWARE KIT, DOOR VISOR

It's a bit overpriced for what you need, but it'll get it done. You could also ask your dealer to order the part, but there is at least a part number for it.

its easy to buy the entire visor, but i just want the screws. i don't want to have to buy the entire visor again just to get the screws.

I believe malraux has pointed you to what you need.

Give collegehills a call to confirm, but I think it is all you need. They are an excellent place to do business. Very helpful over-the-phone.

Finding a single fastener would be tough, that kit has em all I'm thinking.

So why should I both posting a link that lets you just order the screws if you are going to ignore it? Yes, you'll end up ordering several screws instead of just the one that you need, but I didn't post a link to the entire visor, just the hardware kit.

The link that Malraux provided is for the brackets and pins (they are nor really screws) only. And that is probably the best price you can get. My dealer wanted close to $30 dollars for them.

All the pins and brackets really do is help to line up the visors. So yes you can use small screws that are the same size to hold the visors in place at least until you apply the tape. After the visor is installed the brackets aren't really necessary.

In theory, you could try a hardware store or home depot/lowes. They all have an aisle of weird connectors. The problem with that is they're very unlikely to have exactly the same piece. But I would try one before ordering hardware kit again, just because it'll be faster and if you find what you need, it'll be a lot cheaper.
