Where can I get a cargo cover - cheap?

My 2009 Honda Fit Sport arrived today. I can't drive it because it is not registered yet, but I spent time detailing her and getting to know her...

I'd like a cargo cover so whatever I decide to carry in the cargo area is not out for all to see. Anyone know where I can get one cheap? Or any DIY templates out there?

Thanks.

Get a cheap blanket and/or get the glass legally
tinted as dark as possible.

Withya Paul Tinting is, by far, the way to go. I carry a blanket as well, but it really doesn't get used to cover anything - more to cushion things I might feel needs cushioning.

HandA has it for $120, not sure how cheap you're looking to go?

Buy Honda Fit Accessories - Discount Genuine Honda Accessories

Even people who sell them second hand are asking around $100 for them. If you're looking to go super cheap you're probably best just doing a Home Depot SPL. Make your own template.

Unopened

I bought some parts to add to my Fit when I took delivery, only to find that the dealer couldn't find me a Fit to my liking.
So if you still have need of a cargo cover, I have it and more like it. Unopened from Bernardi who wouldn't take them back. Grrr.
PM me, and I'll say more.

Cargo Cover and more

I forgot the part about paypal. I could post it on Ebay if I had someone interested. The other items: seat covers, cargo tray, locking gas cap, and splash guards. Terms: 75% what I paid plus shipping.

You could also try making your own. Made mine for about $20.

I like the cover if only for the fact that I don’t really like tint and the cover actually does add a significant amount of sound deadening.

Flipsfit,

Hondapartsnow.com sells the OEM Cargo cover for about $116. Just go to the Fit accessories page and click on the Interior accessories section. The cargo cover is approximately the seventh product down. They even have DIY installation instructions on that page, too

if im making a cargo cover i would use cardboard and felt. using medium density fiberboard is great for speaker cabinets and stuff but if you get into an accident where someone from behind rear ends you, that fiber board can potentially get pushed right into the back of the rear passenger's head/neck causing severe injury.

i dont trust the rear headrest posts to support a moving truck going 30mph+ into the back of your car either.

i still think tinting the rear glass is the best option. you can carry around black fabric or table cloth and cover your stuff. you will not see it through the tinted glass from the outside.

I've also found that Bernardi doesn't take parts back, even if they are defective.

I get all of my stuff from College Hills, best prices around and it's cool that they are actually interested in supporting hobbyists.

I know this is for a GD, but maybe they have one for the GE too. Only $49. I'm curious on how tho sis compared to the OEM type.
