rr wiper delete
Checked some existing threads but couldnt find any suggestions for this...
Did the rear wiper delete and Im wondering if anyone has any trick clean solutions for removing and deactivating the rear washer fluid spray nozzle.
Anyone?
I would like to tuck it inside the hollow part of the upper hatch and plug it with something similar to the rear wiper hole itself. Any experience with this?
Also want to unplug whatever pump sprays fluid on rear window, how do I do that?
Thanks in advance

Reducing rear visibility in rain by deleting the rear wiper? Shocking no one else is jumping on this! *sarcasm*
If your doing this to run this car strictly on the track or auto-crossing or as a show car, cool, but doing this on the street car, you're on your own.
Yes, We all know that hatches used to get by just fine without them, but we also used to get along by without ABS, airbags, etc. A rear wiper is an safety improvement I think most are loathe to voluntarily remove.

Can't disable the rear nozzle because the motor works for both the front and the rear.
Only way is to clamp the tube by the washer bottle in the engine. You can see one leading to the front window and the other to the rear.
Another way is to disconnect the rear nozzle tube and re-route it back to the bottle. Just leave the cap open, put the hose in the resevoir, and tape it.

Thanks for the ideas Neebs thats pretty much what I was thinking.
As for inclement weather, I will worry about that the 8 days every year there is rain here. No history of snow. Ive been losing sleep over that part :sarcasm:

i did the delete. besides the reasons that other people have listed here, it's because unlike the gd, ours has a knob that sits out when you take the wiper off. I had to shave it, back it, and fill it w bondo, then sand and paint it. it's a little more detailed than just pulling the wiper assembly. i left the sprayer hooked up, just because i didn't feel like pulling it, and it's not like it's in the way.
