2008 Fit driver window problem
My driver's side window on my 2008 won't go up or down. Has anyone else had this problem? What was the fix.
Motor seems to be getting power, fuses are good.
I am suspecting the master window power switch.
Any help is much appreciated.

Uh, they had a recall to replace that I think. Maybe it was the master switch. Water would infiltrate the switches and cause fires among other things. Anyway you might want to post this up in the GD forum.
(in a massively confusing move, the creators of this website aligned the forums along the japanese generational designations. I guess it makes sense since it's an international forum. The 2008 Fit in the US market was a "GD")
Better link on the recall.

^^ That is just to disable the power to all the windows BUT the driver's. So the driver's window will still roll up and down with the master switch in the on position.
If you have a muiltmeter with an audible beep (easier to check) you can check for continuity in the circuit...
With the key switched "OFF" remove the driver's arm rest and unplug the connector(s) for the window switches. Please keep note of their order so you can correctly plug them back in.
Once the plugs are unplugged you can put the key to the "ON", ground one terminal on the meter (helps to have alligator clips) and use the other the other to check continuity in the switch. You would likely have to toggle the switch up and/or down in order to get a reading.
If you don't get a reading from the toggle switch then it is likely the toggle switch for the windows is out; however, while everything is apart and you are down there might as well check for continuity on the regulator (motor that raises/lowers window) to be on the safe side of things.
