What is best for removing adhesive from finish?
I removed the dealer's plastic logo and now athe double sided foam like tape remains on the finish of my Fit
What is best for removing the adhesive without hurting my paint?
Simple Green? Goo Gone? Or something else?

Simple Green undiluted is too strong for ANY application. Hell, even cleaning engine bays it should be used 4:1 (water:SG).
I've been in vinyl for five years and have come across Motsenbocker's Lift Off. Best I've found. I get it at Ace Hardware.

WD-40 works good but diesel fuel is cheaper.. It works best if you put it on the adhesive residue and let it sit for a little while, then hit it with some more and start rubbing....Diesel fuel is what we used to remove tar from cars in the old days... A can of WD-40 is or a generic version of the same is bound to be sitting around somewhere in just about every body's home or garage.

I've used Goo Gone for removing sticker residue on my sport bikes after a trackday and haven't seen any damage to the finish.
I specifically told my dealer they couldn't put their sticker on my Fit when I bought it or they'd lose the sale lol.

I started slowly peeling and only a thin, upper layer of the sticker came off, leaving the dried glue and white understicker in place.
I got a microfiber cloth and some Goo Gone, rubbed diligently but delicately, and the entire white understicker, glue and residue lifted right off after a couple of minutes. It didn't leave any gauges, paint damage or even light swirl marks.
Make sure to use a microfiber cloth/towel and you should be alright.
Good luck!

depends if you want to spend money?
If you have wd-40 (which is basically kerosene for intents and purposes) or goo-gone then use that.
No need to spend money on some of these boutique products people have posted that you will use one time (although I am sure they will all work fine).
Otherwise try an oil-like solvent or any oil (i think the pb would actually work).
If you do want to go pick up an alternative product, i'd say spend it on a claybar, as that would get the job done too, and you can actually use it in the future to prep the surface of imperfections and put a nice coat of sealant/wax on your car.

Removed scores of stickers and like Tex said WD-40 and a terry cloth rag. spray the rag too and turn after rubbing to let the adhesive fill the terry cloth again and in no time your finished. Apply a good wax afterwards and your done.

Spray WD-40 on the sticker and heat it with a hair dryer - wipe clean. I've never seen it done, but I had the same thing happen when we bought my wife's odyssey and I asked the dealer how they did it. That was the answer I got back.

Goo B gone and fishing line to remove the emblem, wipe off what you can with more goo b gone and use an eraser to get rid of the stubborn stuff.
Guessing you don't care about saving the emblem though so you can probably just rip it off lol.

We use gasoline but make sure to wash the area quickly afterwards.
