I think that's the best bet. That's what I'm doing whenever I get a chance... was going to do it this summer, but had some other issues... hopefully in the Spring.
The thing I like about Item9's mod is that he uses the actual GE8 CDV which he modifies, you gotta send him yours back after you swap it out for him to prepare the next one, but it's the best thing I've seen yet. He's done it for numerous CR-Z & Fit owners... A+ guy.

Can't recall exactly... sure it was less than $100.
He's gotta weld or something another to bypass the valve.

The thing I like about it is that there's no bending of lines needed for install, or cutting threads, direct plug & play. I should do it when I change fluids.
