I need opinions

So I'm thinking of getting the password jdm lugs on the fit but I'm not sure if it's going to look good or not and $120 is a little steep if I get it wrong.

Yea at first I was thinking red but I think gold would give me a different look and the pop of color I feel I'm missing

You could always paint the ones you have on. Who is going to look close when you cruising. And when your stopped well only the purist would say anything and yiu wouldn't hear it.

I would get a license for the fit before I worried about the color of lug nuts.

Don't worry about what anyone says or thinks about YOUR car if you don't mind spending the money get what you like not what other people like

I'll take that into consideration next time.

Im not worried about what others say about my car but it never hurts to get someones opnion. Maybe they see something I dont of why it wouldnt like good that I could agree with or maybe it just reinforces what i was already invisioning. Anyway I was just courius.

I've been on this planet for 4 1/2 decades. I suspect I'm older than a lot of member of this forum. My Fit is mostly Sport stock, aside from some nice but utilitarian dealer add on's...center console, cargo shelf...

So take my opinions for what you think they are worth.

#1. I enjoyed the latest Woody Allen directed film, Midnight In Paris. Besides being ironically pretentious, and easily predictable, it was refreshing and "nostalgic" to watch a film that was story and character driven, that did not follow the Hollywood Summer Blockbuster formula.

#2. You have a sharp looking Honda Fit. But I would give serious discretionary thought to gold lugnuts. You say you think it will add the "pop" of color you are looking for? Well IMO there is a point where things can start to look over accesorized. Like a beautiful woman who is wearing too much jewlery. Maybe it is a symptom of my age, and nostalgia, but this age has little connection with the beauty of subtlety. Everything has to pop...be loud...lowered or lifted...

I leave you in peace to continue my mid-life crisis...good luck with your decision. Think about the power of subtlety....

I have a personal hang up about gold on a car. Even if it's factory emblems on a Camry the first thing I think when I see gold trim is Pimpmobile. I would go with the idea of painting the ones you already have.
