How Much For Window Tint?
I am ready to tint my windows and it's been about 12 years since I last did this. I went to a few places and they all want around $225. I'm thinking that's a little high so I wanted to get some feedback here.

That sounds about right. Around my area, the cheapest is $200, but i'd rather spend a little extra and get it done right at a reputable shop. I paid $300 for mine, but i also got the ceramic based tint which is supposed to better at repelling heat.

I think that mine was $150.00 it was done perfectly. We have taken many things there since then and all turned out great. Many places wanted about 250-300 dollars but you have to remember fits have odd shaped windows and many of them. So it will be more expensive then most things.

Wow BlueBoo that seems kinda high to pay for that much to get your car tinted. I paid only 150 for all 9 windows and no bubbles or scracthes at all. LLLC you might want to go to that fixes windows for commercial or residential. Cuz sometimes they can do cars too.

I didn't pay that, I said it's worth that. This is all ceramic too, not some cheap metal-based stuff.

I paid about $200 for all my windows and supposedly is the best stuff they have with a lifetime warranty against bubbling and discoloration. 20% rears and 35% up front. Where I went they wanted to charge an extra $10 a window for 5% limo tints... so I just went with 20% in the back.

I got a quote for $225 for all 9 and nothing on the windshield. It seems that it is cheaper down south. In my research I have discovered that the range in price has alot to do with the particular film used, and also some places have people who only do tint. I can probably save money shopping around in a larger area, but want to stay very local in case of any problems with the tint. It looks like I will either have to bite the bullet and pay up,or postpone it altogether. I'm still stinging from upgrading the radio. I'm very pleased with my new radio, and wouldn't trade it for the stock unit.
