I got way more people trying to race my Milano Red '07 than my new Orange Revolution. Something about red being faster maybe....oh it had a sticker on it too. That makes it go EVEN faster.

I do Point-of-Sale installations and we do beer stores in PA.

I was in the absolute middle of nowhere PA, and was installing a drive-thru beer store after closing for the day. They had me pull in.

A girl, maybe 18 or 19 years old walks out from the booth.

She eyes up my car and stares for about 5 seconds and asks: "Where are you FROM???"

I replied: "The future"

Wow this thread is funny. The only thing that I don't like about people trying to race me when I am in the fit is it isn't fast enough to race...it is good for everything else. I don't like street racing( I am sure we are all guilty of a red light to red light at some point), I would much rather go down to the drag strip on Friday. We have/had drag race quads and I will race/ride them all day long going as fast as I want with no problems.

I haven't had any comments really negative or positive. When I go back to Oklahoma to visit I feel that everyone is looking at me thou. I would like to be down there in an ice or snow storm when all the two-wheel drive trucks can't go anywhere and I can just drive anywhere in the fit.

Ya, I had a guy that was all over my bumper on the I-state. We both exited at the same ramp. It was a cloverleaf. I was practically still going highway speed on it and he was about 1/4 mile behind me by the time we hit the entry to the next road. He stayed away from me after that. LOL

Know your strengths!

The Fit has consistently made Car and Driver's top ten list. That's enough for me, along with the daily driving satisfaction.

I get a some tailgaters (not sure why) and even had one crazy road rager. (Dude in a 70's pickup.)

People get curious when gas gets really expensive, which seems like all the time now.

Haven't gotten too much hate yet from the endless camo clad truck guys or young caucasian "gangstas" rocking Cavaliers. Many more incidents in the 93 civic hatch, 50:50 ratio of thumbs up/ middle finger..

LOL. It's too bad you can't be the bully any more and you now have to drive like a normal person!

It's easier to just avoid everyone and take everything with a grain of salt.

But what if you are on a sodium-free diet?

You'll be okay, just be yourself.
Good for you. I feel the same way. Great minds don't think alike... they think for themselves.

People can hate and laugh all they want, I love my fit! It is amazing to see HD truck and gas guzzling vehicle driver's face at the fuel pump!

i have yet had anyone seem to notice, care or anything else about my fit. not that i would care otherwise, some of you must live in some weird towns to have so many that give a crap about what is basically just a typical looking modern cheap car.

Who cares what they say? It's a good functional car that's good on gas, and has a lot more cargo room than it looks.....and it's pretty stylish in it's own right. Someone last week said something like that, i told him I can still fill my car for $30.00.....can you? LOL.

Looks that everyone has some kind of personal experience with people in the street with our Fits. One thing is for sure....no matters what kind of car you have people just can not stop being "Haters".Sometimes people do this because they want to see our "dark" side. You must not get sick about this and don't get sick because of them. The best way to avoid to get sick of "Haters" is just enjoying your car. That's what all matters....
