Cargo cover

Cargo cover
I've had my Fit for about a week. I ordered the cargo cover but
it hasn't come in yet. Now I'm having second thoughts about the
cover. Will the cover interfere with the seats folding flat for cargo?
It looks like the cover attaches to snaps on the back of the seat. Can
it easily be removed/replaced to carry stuff in the back?
Thanks

Yeah, when you fold the seats flat again, the snaps just pop loose. The only somewhat inconvenient thing is if you are suddenly hauling something really big. There's no place to stow the cargo cover when you take it loose. On some cars, the parcel shelf can hid under the trunk's floor.
Also, if you're installing it yourself, the trick to snap buttons install is to feel along the back of the seat for the hole in the metal reinforcements.

...or you can just NOT install the snaps. i removed the flap that has the snaps. you can just pop the plastic buttons that hold the flap to the cargo cover. if you recline the rear seats, there is no gap for anyone to be able to see the contents of your hatch.

You will like it. I did not use the snaps. I thought it was kind of a shitty way to attach it. I used two sided heavy-duty velcro. The loop side will stick to the back of the seat, or you can install the fuzzy part. It works for me.
The snaps seem, something out of 1975.

Given the cheapness of the carpet, does that do a number on the back of the seats?
