Cruise control doesnt work anymore. please help.

most of my miles are on the highway, so i tend to use my cc often. yesterday the cc worked just fine, and today i went to set it and NOTHING. one of those things you didn't think you necessarily needed, but once you had it and then taken away from you, kinda want it back. like girls.

so, anybody familiar with it, or what i could do to troubleshoot? when i hit "cruise", the dash light still *does* turns on and off, but when i go to set it, no secondary light, no work. what gives?

Ecu?

I lost cruise recently and it was the fuse for the ECU/brake lights. I have the Honda shop manual and the ECU is required for cruise control. I have a GD3 so my experiences might not be relevant to you but check that fuse.

Check the No. 12 (10 A) fuse and the No. 24 (10 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box.

Let me know what you found.

Do you have a 5-speed or automatic? There are a few component differences between the 5-speed and auto.

Thanks for the responses guys! 5 speed, ge, and lights work. But the next day after my posting, it magically was working again. Lol.
