Does the hood deflector mess with mpg?

Those with the Zeta/Oem deflector for the hood.....have you noticed an impact on mpg? Seriously thinking of getting one

A) to hide a lot of the paint chips on the hood currently and

B) TRY to prevent any more new ones

Too late for clear bra

So if I get a hood deflector will I take a hit on mpg?

I'm interested to know this as well. My car is very new, only 650 miles, and I want to start protecting the hood before the rock chips start. Anybody with the hood deflector notice a difference in MPG?

I had one for over a year. I see no difference in MPG. But, I do noticed less rock chips on the hood.

I know for a fact that this one won't alter yur mpg's.. I used one for two yrs. Awesome product...no it did fade the color of my hood either, just clean underneath every so often as specified...

just purchased one off ebay.....hope it is as good as you claim. I currently use the honda bra, though mostly the hood part. But its starting to get old and collects alot of crap under it when it rains.

I have the Zeta deflector. I haven't noticed any difference in mpg. Just be sure to remove it when you wash your car.

You take it off every time you wash car?

I have had a Honda Deflector since new so therefore no change in MPG. I had to replace it as it took a big rock while protecting my hood.

Yeah. I just take it off when I need to clean under there. Sometimes dirt builds up on the hood where it covers. Also, cleaning underneath the hood deflector gets rid of the water spots. Looks nicer when it's clean on both sides as it has a transparent look.
