Converting a base 2010 ge to sport got some questions

For the front end the sport bumper would bolt right up correct ? And I would need a new grill. And fog bezels. I'm gonna pass on the tailgate spoiler for now but I need the two lower rear bumper garnishes. Anything else I'm missing ? And if i don't get the fogs any suggestions on filling those holes since I don't think there is a fog light empty bezel is there ? I was thinking black wire mesh any other suggestions ?

the rear end is the same except the exhaust finisher and spoiler you already have the lower rear bumper garnishes on the base model.

the sport bumper bolts up just fine although you need to get the sport inner fenders to do it properly.

i have a thread on what i did when i did it to my base search for that thread it will answer alot of questions.

I was trading in a car with alot of overhead on it and couldn't afford a sport. My payments are already 300 for 6 years with my employee discount on the car. And I work at a body shop so all the labor and paint is freeeee lol

Find someone with a Sport wanting to change it to a Base... and no
I am not a candidate.

Some questions I would have about this:

-how will the modifications affect your warranty

-how will it affect trade in value... will the dealer consider it a true Sport
model or will they simply give you the Base value

-how will the modifications affect your insurance... will they pay for replacement of your Sport parts when you actually have the base.

I suppose I'm approaching it all from a financial point of view but those are practical considerations.

I'd be dumping my spare cash into the loan to get it paid off... but that is just me.

well technically no the the insurance wouldn't replace it with sport parts but we have done that at the shop where ppl have had body kits and gt bumpers and we replace it with what they had with no problem wiht the insurance. warranty should be fine. and trade in value would be a base still because they go by your VIN plus i wont have all the sport stuff like the cruise control and such. so not so bad

I'm going to the mugen front and side skirts hopefully in the next couple of months. So basically the same thing as you but with the mugen instead of a sport. If I get started before you then I'll definitely let you know how it goes.
