I was thinking about doing the same thing with some LED's from oznium.com. The hard part is wiring them up individually (which I don't think is possible). The only way I could think of was wiring it to the dome light, but everytime a door is opened all 4 would light up.

I'm sure theres a way to put a physical switch on the door kinda like how a fridge door works.

I have led handle lights. They light up when I unlock the car and shut off when I lock it. You wire them to the dome light at the fuse box. It's pretty simple. Infound the how-to on here, but I'm on my phone right now. Hardest part was routing through the doors to the cabin. It's a cool mod, I'll see if I can find a pic or video of mine and post it later today.

That's pretty sweet. I'd want it under the door, though. I love how it fades.

the light comes on/goes off exactly like the dome light when you use the remote. If it's already unlocked, and I just open the door, they don't really come on. But if i use the remote, they turn on and stay on as long as the dome light is one. When I start the car and the dome light fades, so do they. Also when I lock the car back up and the dome light fades, so do these. Watch the video, it might explain it better. You can hear me clicking my remote.
