How much would you pay for a 2009 base model/manual with no engine?

Dude, I feel for you! I was gonna make some joke about parting it out to us, but this is no place for a joke. Then I started thinking. . . if you've got the room, why not save it and part it out? I bet you could get better than two grand by the time you were through. And if you get another GE, you could have spares for yourself, too.

Final resolution:
JiffyLube's insurer finally has agreed to pony up. As the engine is still under warranty, they will be paying for the installation of a new one. And they are paying for my rental car while it gets done.
The sticky wicket was never JiffyLube, it was their insurer, who I think was really misbehaving on this. But it's all water under the bridge now--I get my Fit back, which is all I wanted in the first place. And for all my troubles, which were considerable, I feel compensated by having a new engine.
