So it would be better to just get the WR 'header' instead of this cat-delete? I know there was a post/thread about the WR header about how much power it made, but I can't find it (doh)
Maybe we can compare their dynos?

I'd have to believe that the "race" header would add more power up top, but the reduced restriction would cut out some low end torque. While a test pipe would do the same, it wouldn't do as much (depending on how restrictive the OEM header is), and might make power delivery more peaky, due to possible peaks and valleys in power delivery, which (assuming WR did a good job in development, although I wouldn't bet on it, especially for $375!) a decent long-tube header would eliminate.
As for WR, I've used a couple of their products on customer cars, and one intake on my own Subaru a few years back. Their stuff is rice defined. Sure, it fits and does SOME good, but it's more bling than go. I was NEVER impressed- the only reason I'd use their stuff is because there wasn't an off-the-shelf solution available from a better company, and the cost and headache of fabbing something up wasn't worth it- Mark W.
