Picked up my Brand New 2010 Fit Sport today! Pics inside.
Hey everyone! After lots of research and reading, I picked up a 2010 Honda Fit Sport this afternoon. It is my first NEW car. I traded in my 2003 Subaru Outback LL Bean edition, and got $4500 for it. I'm hoping the fit will suit my needs of first, being reliable, second, having lots of space for me to put all my hiking/mountain biking/snowboarding/camping gear in, and 3, be fuel efficient.
My only gripes with the car is the acceleration from 35-65MPH (basically, merging onto the highway) -- Comming from a 6cyl 3.0L engine, I had a LOT more power. I might someday throw an intake, exhaust, and tires in it, but right now I will just have to get used to it.
Also, I am a huge music enthusiast, and the Ipod interface is horrendous. I will probably get a new deck for it just for this reason alone, but the stock sound system actually sounds pretty nice.
Here's some pics!
So much room!
And my favorite album to break it in..... only took me (literally) 5 minutes to scroll down to "Sublime" through the ipod interface.

I think the lowest I got them was 15.7 but the trade was a sticking point for me. I asked Autofair if they would match that price and they did....AF's doc fee is 100 bucks more so in the end we probably paid around the same price.....AF is only about 15 minutes away from me so that swayed my decision as well
It snowed the day after I picked up my Fit so we have that in common lol

I couldn't believe they gave me 4500 for my car. It was a 2003 subaru outback LL bean, but it had 175,000 miles on it, and it was in pretty terrible shape. Like, I was hoping it was not going to die on my way to the dealership.
The most I got offered for my car from other places was 3,000, most were around 2,000.

the navigation doesn't have bluetooth, so no, I wouldn't say you're missing much - doesn't have a touchscreen either from what I've read. it might be easier to use an iPod with it but I haven't used one with the navi so I can't say for certain.

Just remember to use those paddles. They are glorious when accelerating on on-ramps. This little 1.5L loves to be rev'd. Paddling down a gear really boost the acceleration with these little auto's.

Yeah, I found that today. I was messing around in sport mode with the paddle shifters. It did make a difference staying in 3rd gear until 55mph or so.
