For your entertainment. 4th gear is a dog. Love this automatic transmission very much outside of 4th gear. Watch the shifts, especially the 1-2 shift, very closely. You can see it starting to grip before the shift is even complete. If you watch the tach fall after the shift begins, you can see it start to grab at 5800 as it falls to 5200. It's quite awesome never falling below 5k. Then, as I have documented before, in 3rd gear at 90mph the converter unlocks, the rpms fall a tad, and lets you keep spining in 3rd gear up to 95mph so that you can at least get into the crapfest that is 4th gear, at a reasonable rpm, making it slightly less of a dog. It's almost like honda knew this day would come...

Thankfully you could have set the cruise control any time you would have liked. ;-) I noticed a similar feel back when I used to fly down a road by me late at night. It gets up there and then just decides, "Hey I don't like this fast, straight line stuff"
EDIT: And thats on a non-modded engine. I know yours is ALOT different.

I think it would be a major difference. My gears are 1st 0-27ish, 2nd goes to about 50, 3rd goes almost to 75, 4th will get you to about 105 give or take. And then, of course, 5th is dead at 115ish. Poor little L15.

Then we could be looking at a mid 13sec AT GE trapping low 100's! In other words the fastest-yet stock longblock Fit in the US.
The fact its a budget DIY build makes it that much sweeter! Well done.
