Any GE owner here also have a very fast weekend car and/or sportbike?

Well he said it's 700 at the crank, not the wheels.. either way, personally I do just fine moving ~60lbs/min even with just the FWD trans in a 2550lb car(AWD trans and rear-diff are being built up.. again ) Granted I add 285lbs to it...
Sticky rubber and boost-by-gear works just fine for me. As well as a light right foot. But in 2wd mode I can light up the tires through 3rd just rolling into boost. But wheel hop leads to damage.

Launch control, boost-by-gear and a lot of good tires... It's street driven
(and almost 100% legal in my province!), rarely drag raced, yet still runs thru at least a set of good rear tires after 4-5 months (~8,000 miles). Keep in mind the S2000 weighs 1275kg. A Honda Fit is around 1129kg.
Last time I checked, the fastest S2000 with a Honda F block is 7.75 @ 175MPH. Not bad...
Anyways, this is a Honda Fit forum, let's keep on subject. SteveInNC, do you have a weekend car?

Going back to the OP; I'll also say this. I used to ride a great deal as well, and my Fit gets better gas mileage than my last sportbike did. Last ride was an RC51 SP2, which if I remember, got between 28 and 32 to a tank, while behaving.

True. Big Twins are hogs...no pun intended.. My 1397cc Busa (before i went 1507 and Turbo) got 34mpg and it was 194rwhp...

I think he was using it as a comparison.
Yah my R1 got 40s. The RC was nutty.... small tank and horrible gas mileage. Some of my trackdays used almost an entire tank.

Yep..Comparison..
I have aslow R6S now and it doen't get real good mileage either (like only 42).
RC's are nice though and unique. My SV1000S did okay in mileage but not as nice as a RC.

What is up old friend. Yes your bike counts. Sounds like it has the full Dale Walker treatment...
Your Fit should pull the cycle or skiis just fine...

I'm presently looking at used Maserati Spyders (Cambiocorsa or GranSport) as another option. I'd keep the Fit as a daily driver in that case.

I just registered and picked up a white AT Sport today... I have a couple fun ridesm but I got the fit to replace my 2000 Audi S4 (B5 modded 2.7 Twin Turbo). It's a lot of fun, but I need a DD that gets good gas mileage. I'm keeping my other toys though... those consist of an 02 911 Carerra with a Techart kit and some bolt ons and an 05 Kawasaki ZX10R. I chose an auto because the 911 & S4 are both 6-speeds and also needed a backup car that anyone in the family could drive.

Well, to update this thread I finally decided to pull the trigger and get an '11 Sport MT today. The local dealer has to trade for one but they said I should have it on Tuesday.
Hope you guys can provide even more useful info in the future then!
