I liked my 2010 so much I...
Bought a 2011. My first one was a base model, and I really wanted Nav and the bases didn't come with USB-ipod interface, steering wheel audio, etc., so on Friday I swapped Spark for Sumo.
This is the first time I've ever bought the same model twice. Happy Happy, Joy Joy! Now for my next feat, I will attempt to keep the car clean. I've never had black...yikes

Nice sleek black! Hope you don't lose much on depreciation for your 2010
I think is will be easier to keep clean for black.
I find it difficult to clean my white.....after driving it in wet weather with mud splashes from asphalt, it looks like poop on splatted on my white FIT and it is very obvious on white

I hope so. When they first detailed the car for delivery, it had rub marks all over it. I am not sure why they think machine car washes are good for any car...lol.
As for the trade, they were actually very good about it and I did pretty well. I guess they said they never actually can get ahold of more than one or two used Fits for their lot at a time that are clean with low mileage, so they gave me a very fair trade for it.
They also said that they have had some calls from people asking about availability problems due to the mfg being halted right now at Suzuka and Saitama where the NA Fit is made, so they are eager to have plenty of inventory of new and used.
I was just happy to get the version with Nav, etc, which was what I originally wanted but wasn't able to get at the time.

Congrats on the new Fit. I'm trading my '09 base for an '11 base on monday. I like the new silver and the base now has cruise which I want. Also has vsa, usb interface and keyless.
Unreal how Fits hold their value. Can get good money even on a trade. If I would have sold mine myself I could have probably got the new on for $0 but can't really be without a car.
This will be GE Fit #3 for me. (wifey has a '10 black sport).

I own a 2010 Non-Navigation Honda Fit Sport...Crystal Pearl Black.
Looks much like yours...
I love black, but put aside any dreams of ease as far as keeping it looking clean for anything but perhaps weekends....
Black is way too honest. It's going to show you any dust or dirt that get's on it. It's not going to hide anything.
My advice? Enjoy detailing your automobile as a past time or hobby. Learn to enjoy the process. Simultaneously? You might have to learn some degree of acceptance of less than perfection.
For me? I live in the Pacific Northwest. Lots of rain. So often, black is not that much of a drawback....it's usually raining so everyones car is not "showroom".
Good wax or polish, protective and repellent coating, makes maintenance a "little" easier...
Enjoy the fact...IMO...that when clean? Black is great...ignore the fact IMO that the state of being clean when your vehicle is black...is a challenge to maintain.
