Tire pressure for Fits?

I had never heard of this statute and would have never known it existed had I not carefully gone over the receipt. You guys bring up good points on both sides of the equation. From what I'm told, California has always been stricter than other states on this front.

For example, when I went to have my car smog checked in Denver; they took one look at my California license plate and simply waved me through without bothering. If it passed in Cali, it would surely satisfy Colorado's requirements is what they said.

Finally, I'm glad they did check the tire pressure because I tend to be lazy about such things.

I run 45 psi on all four corners all year around. I don't do "performance" driving but the car feels and handles much better for me at this pressure.
