My Ipod stopped playing through the speakers.
It's wierd, it worked for about a month and this is the second time it just won't play through the speakers. The head unit registers all of the song information and the ipod is almost brand new. In addition, I can hear music just fine w/ headphones in my ipod. How can I get the sound back in my car speakers?

have you tried restarting the ipod? hold the power/sleep and home buttons until the ipod completely blinks out (after the "slide to turn off" shows up). Once it blinks out, let go of both buttons quickly, otherwise you'll have a bit of a headache to deal with (have to plug it to you computer and possibly re-sync everything).
I've had that issue and a few others in the past with my 2nd gen. At least once everyday, I would have to unplug and then reconnect the ipod to the cable to get it to output properly (most of the time, the issue is no sound).
My 4th gen has been behaving much better. Now it's maybe once or twice a month before it acts up. Nowadays, the only thing that pops up... is that it "forgets" the last thing it was doing before I disconnected. This happens for 3 things. 1, if I reboot the ipod, or let it completely run out of power and then recharge it. 2, if I sync it to my itunes. 3... and three is the buggy part. Depending on which apps I run and for how long, it messes with the memory making it "forget."
