A 2 Fit family now :)
Hammered out a deal to replace my HHR with a new 2010 Sport Fit A/T...was happy with dealer and price...could have saved a few bucks by flying down to Baltimore or buying in MA but the convenience of this dealer to my location plus the no b/s approach sealed it for me.
Here are a couple pics right before I drove it home
First couple things I do is get the center console arm rest and perhaps tint the back windows (no tint on fronts in NH)
Thought we were gonna lose the deal on my trade but got to a price I was comfortable with and also got him to throw in a set if wheel locks
This is gonna help in the wallet since I commute 100 miles a day r/t
Gonna have to come up with a new screen name

Just curious, did you see the 2011 Sport Fit A/T in the show room?
I am wondering how much more would it cost for a 2011 FIT model and what would be the incremental features of 2011 over 2010 (apart from the possibility of springs recall). Most of the time, there are more savings to be had for 2010 models as the dealership is driven to get rid of 2010s

That would be correct! All Fit Sports sold at AutoFair Honda come with the IVTEC graphic on them...they list it as a 495 dollar option Neither my wife or I paid for this "option" when we bought our Fits lol
@ric01 I didn't see any 2011's on the floor but they had over 20 of them on the lot. I think the main diff between the 2010 and 2011 models is that VSC is standard on all Fit Sports now? As far as the recall, on the recall thread there is a doc with the VIN #'s affected. The one I bought last night VIN is way higher than those affected. So if looking at 2010's keep this in mind and check the VIN
As far as pricing, when I was looking at Rockingham Honda for a Fit, the one I came to see was sold 15 minutes prior to my arrival. Sales Manager offered me a 2011 Sport Fit A/T for 17.4K instead. I declined because that was above what I had earmarked as a budget but seemingly a good deal anyways.
The 750 dollar rebate to dealer on the 2010 Fits is supposed to end 2/28. I wouldn't be surprised if an even bigger incentive comes out in the near future on 2010's. There are still a bunch of them on some dealer lots. Boch Honda has over 20 of them they need to move

man red looks good!, i never seen that sticker before and thats a LOT of money for just a sticker
according to my vin number actually mine is supposed to be affected, but so far no letter and using the vin (as of of today) on the honda recall website they recognise i have a 2010 but no recall as of yet (might be too early to use the recall vin option on their website tho)... i 'll try again in a few months maybe it will be recalled.

My wife's BBP is involved in the recall but nothing on the recall website either. I think it's just too early. I imagine in the next week or so the website will be update and letter will start going out in March

yeah iam tempted to just wait untill i hit like 80k miles or something and send it in for the recall, that way i'll get the valve adjustment at the same time... cuz i actually didn't plan on doing the valve adjustment ever.. and people on this forum make it sound like its such a big deal.
