Why is there no navi for the 2011 Fit Sport 5mt?
No bluetooth and no audio controls on the wheel? But in 2010 they offered both of these on the navi with a 5mt. Why did they drop the 5mt as a option on the navi equipped fit sport for 2011?

Most people, given the option, choose manual because of the cost savings. The enthusiast market is a slim portion of the market share. So the relatively high cost navi (compared to a garmin/tomtom/smartphone) contradicts the market segment that buys a manual.
If automatic and manual cost the same, even more people would choose automatic over a manual.

No Bluetooth
There is/was no bluetooth available on the 2010. The Navi system in the higher end Honda's had bluetooth, but not the Fit. We have Navi with audio on the wheel, ability to 'talk' to the navi from a button on the wheel, and idevice/usb input.

For about $400 you can put in an aftermarket NAVI / bluetooth screen in your Fit. Easier than you think. Doesn't have the steering wheel controls, but the screen is only 6 inches away from your hand. See the DIY threads.....

2009 you could get a 5MT Sport Navi. after that Navi was only available in an Auto. The only real loss of 2010 not providing navi on the 5MT was that you couldn't get VSA on a 5MT because you could only get VSA with Navi. Now that VSA is standard on all 2011's, it makes the Navi even less appealing b/c of the massive price gouging for a Navi system and a lack of Bluetooth.
Staples had a Garmin with Bluetooth this past sun/mon for $99... a lot better maps/capability than the built in honda Navi system which at this point is already outdated.

Honda really did sneak the VSA in around the corner. Sort of saw that coming. If the navi came in standard I would probably have bought one. Soon after I got my 2010 I started thinking the 2011's would have VSA because of the Fed mandate.
Glad I didn't, though VSA would be nice I would be now saddled w/ a navi.
I'm seeing similar MPG's as you SB. They took a bit of a dip last month but I'm really satisfied.

I own a 2009 Sport 5MT w/ nav. Yes, they are very rare cuz when I found it, I didn't have any other comparible 5MT w/nav to compare it to in my area for price haggeling. Bummer they didn't continue them.

as mentioned above, the OEM navi is weak. I have a 2009 MT w/ nav. I love the MT. I wish I had saved on the purchase price (by eliminating the factory nav) and opted for an aftermarket system. The only advantage was the addition of VSA which is now standard. My $150 garmin is more feature-packed than this overpriced unit. Note to self: pass on all factory nav units in the future and modify yourself.

I've got a 2010 navi sport with 5mt, took me a while to find it, I thought it was a factory goof but i love it.
P.S. Ive been a lurker on the forums for a while

eh the navi is off sometimes, could be better, if the updates were cheaper or if I could burn them on a DVD-ROM properly it might help, but it does get me where I'm going on road trips.
I really just like the PCMCIA card slot, that is way faster than the USB connection when loading music
I guess it feels good to be outta the closet....
