Tighten up Steering
I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to tighten up the steering.
There is a bit too much play in my fit, I would like it to be a bit more responsive.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

This car has the best on-center steering feel I have ever experienced.
I suppose theoretically, since the power assist is speed based, you could use a frequency piggy back (like the FIC-8) and intercept the speed sensor and output 115 mph frequency equivalent to override the low speed power assist. This would have also have the beneficial effect of eliminating the speed limiter since the ecu would think you were always going 115.

The steering is quick but suspension and tires influence response... Lower aspect ratio tires and stiffer springs and perhaps dampers will help the car to respond more quickly to steering input... For a quick fix put more air pressure in your tires.

More info needed. Tell us about your car. Year, Model, Mileage and mods done etc.-dito
Check the linkages and componets to see that they are in good shape. Looking at the steering componets, they'er "delicate" and it would'nt take much to cause harm to them. Look@ the tires to check alignment probz. ?
