The Official 2009+ Honda Fit (GE8) Parts Unboxing Thread
Hi everyone,
I came up with what I thought is a great idea.
I wanted to make this thread to help all of us know exactly what we getting when we buy certain parts for our car and no suprises or mess ups.
So please take pictures and post it here! Post up ANYTHING you bought for your GE8, and please show us the unboxing.
I'll start with my T1R B-pipe that I got today...
I was so suprised how small of a box it came in. I thought it was gonna be in a HUGE box like the exhausts. Hence why I'm starting this thread.
Thanks for looking.
Don

I got my Buddy Club Racing Condenser today.
Here's some picture of my unboxing and install I did, which I think I did a really clean job.
I went to a local hardware store and bought a plate to make my own bracket.
I used heatstrink and cover the bracket.
Then I double taped the bracket onto the condenser.
I used the holes that I took the bracket to support the stock intake off. Look where I circled
And here is the complete work, I think it's pretty clean how I did the wire management.
Gonna need to go my friend to cut the last wire was too long so I just wrapped it for now.
Thanks for looking,
Don

Oh and plus I zipped tied all the wires pretty good, so even if the double comes off, it's not going anywhere.

Ok guys, here is another perfect reason why I came up with this thread.
I got my Mugen oil cap today. The picture from Honda make the cap look like it's bronze or gold.
I'll show you what I mean, here is a picture from Honda's website.
But it's not! Here is pictures of my unboxing and install
(Note DO NOT stick the mugen emblem on the cap until you've tightened onto the motor, because if you stick it first then screw on the cap, the emblem will not be straight or correct position)
Thanks for looking,

No because there's only 1 part number from Honda for the oil cap. It's the lighting when they took that photo.

i have a spoon 1.35 cap but the sticker fell off
isn't the mugen sock supposed to go over the clutch cylinder (to the right of your brake cylinder)?
thought the fit has electrical power steering so there isn't any fluid in that cylinder.
