Good luck. Some tips on dealing with insurance adjusters:
- Document everything.
- Stand your ground, but don't go looking for a fight; in my experience, if you treat an agent with respect it will be reciprocated. And vice versa.
- Even if you don't think you have any injuries now, wait before signing any medical release -- sometimes it takes a while for hurts to show up.
- If you have to mail anything, send it with delivery confirmation; costs a little more, but gives you a paper trail.

Wednesday morning, the streets looked like a hockey rink; on one mild hill in my part of town, half the cars lost traction before getting to the top. As of Wednesday afternoon, there was still not a hint of sand or salt on any of the streets in my part of Atlanta (northeast, but inside the perimeter) -- not even high traffic, major 4-lane streets like Clairmont. Plows? Fuggedaboutit. Down to the teens tonight, so the streets will be another hockey rink tomorrow morning.
