Where to buy a 2011 Sport with Navi in SoCal?
I'm ready to buy a Fit sport with AT and navi - must be a 2011.
Seems there's not a great deal of choice when it comes to FIT's with navi and this maybe a disadvantage in getting a 'good deal'.
Anyone have a suggestion as to a dealer who is 'flexible' with respect to pricing ?
I'm prepared to go anywhere in SoCal.

Check with Brent at Diamond Valley Honda in Heber. They have a few dealers in their corp. and he will negotiate as much as possible. If he does not have it, he can get it for you from one of his other dealers in So.Cal. Give it a shot. One of their franchises' is Nelson Honda of El Monte and show 8 in stock with Navi. List price is 19,900, so work down from that price.

Good luck in your search. I drove from Calexico to Heber to purchase my fit from Brent and he treated me extremely well. As I said before, they own a few dealerships, with Nelson being one of them, so I am sure he will treat you well and he can find what you want. Hope you find what you are looking for and at the price you want. Let me know how your time with him went this weekend. His phone is 888-353-6707 at Diamond Valley.

A lot of folks have complained that the navi systems that Honda uses, suck.
Granted, the actual system is by Alpine, but it seems like their lowest end model. And considering the price premium you are paying, it might be cheaper to just get a 2011 Sport non-navi AT, and put in you own navi based radio later (for an overall cheaper price).
For the 2010 models, they made VSA part of the navi trim only, but have now made it standard across the board for the Fit... is there anything else that the navi only trim offers?

Hi guys,
to answer yor questions....
I bought it from Poway Honda for 'invoice' at $19,267 or $21355 OTD with tax, title and registration.
Contacted a few dealers around SoCal and they all immediately offered a discount from $19,990 to $19,267 but went with the local dealer for convenience.
Even then they are making commission or whatever - but given it's a relatively inexpensive car I didn't feel inclined to haggle over a few hundred bucks.
As the for the navi and audio system - they did offer a non navi car with an after market system, but I'm a little anal about have someone mess about installing something other than OEM. Especially as often there something not quite compatible. So far it seems adequate and the voice recognition seems to work fine.
Yes it's an expensive option, but I always have the OEM navi in all my cars.
Just loading up a 500GB hard drive now with music to plug into the USB port - yes the hand book says not use a hard drive, but they are so darn inexpensive these days they're almost disposable !
The dealer tried to sell me on extended warranty and a load of other BS which I declined - basically because I don't expect to keep the FIT for more than 2-3 years.
Got stung for all weather mats - didn't know about bernardiparts.com
More later.

Sounds good and it appears you are having fun with it already. You will enjoy it and they are good, economical, sporty little cars. Post a photo when you have the time. Glad you were able to find one locally.
