As creative as it is ( igive you kudos)

but that is WAY too big, imho.

At least the ipad will be nice and cool when the AC is on.

There's just no good way to mount one of those things if you want to be able to remove it. I think that solution is pretty decent, although I wouldn't want it in my ride. Nice work though!

I gave you reps just for trying it. I think the iPad is awesome and has major potential for in-vehicle use. I've seen some really nice installs on YouTube but they are in larger vehicles. Unfortunately, I think the fit's interior is just too busy and crowded for a really clean iPad install. But like I said, reps just for doing it and posting the video. And as long as you like it, that's all that matters.

Looks good. Not something I would do. Just a bit bulky for me. Sticks out too far.

Also will it become a hazard in an accident?

Anyways. It doesn't really matter what we think. as long as it works for you.

Are the headrest even big enough to have them installed "in" them?

maybe vertically.

otherwise, it'll have to be a strap-on affair. >.<

before i read on this forums somebody asked how it will be if he wants to put the iPad in the dash and everybody that time said it will be sooooo big but this didn't stop me from doing it coz we need to try things to see by ourself how it will be right.
and also its reversible so i can return my factory stereo whenever i want.

I think it looks pretty decent when the ipad is plugged in- its a bit odd looking when its not- but who cares!? It works and you have volume control still functional. Id want one.....but then again I'd be happy to just own an ipad!

that's simple, just leave the stock HU in... the iPad outputs at a set level, the volume control actually controls the HU (see DIY audio controls for non-navi Fits) which is still mounted, just hidden under the iPad "dock".

You should also be able to go to "next" and "previous" tracks too.

GAHHHH... this only serves to remind me just how lazy I am... I bought the audio controls to install into my Fit... but haven't done it yet (3-4 months later).

One of these days... i'll get the motivation to do it.
