seat height

Problem you'll have on the driver's side is the fuel tank that's under the seat... But the design is more in the seat itself than the rails. For comfort I've actually installed 3ea 3/8 washers under the front of each rail to raise the front of the seat aprox 1/4". Gives a better leg support and allows to rake the seat back a bit more, but you're still sitting tall in the car which, by the way, I seem to like - my 69 Alfa Spyder puts my butt about 10" above the pavement with my legs straight out in front. One needs to 'roll' out of that car - it ain't a Honda lol

After upgrade from the Accord to FIT in Aug 2010, I am still trying to get used to the FIT's higher sitting position as well.
Though the Accord has seat height and angle adjustments, I still feel I made the best decisions in life (apart from marrying my wife) to move to the FIT

I think I read somewhere that a company in Japan makes lowered rails for the OEM seats. I just can't remember which one it was. It'll never be a drastic change due to the gas tank placement, but when it comes to seating, little changes make a big difference.
Edit: I believe it's Seeker that makes it.
