Just got a 2011 Sport M/T in white on Friday, OTD $18,800:

I drove it off the lot the day after it came off the truck--10 miles on it at the time of sale. Since there were no dealer add-ons given the quick turnaround, I'm trying to figure out what to do with it now...

Funny that you say that--I was really hoping for a black or vortex blue but I was in a bit of a bind (I totaled my old car about two weeks ago and my insurance was only going to pay for my rental through today), and the Sport M/T inventory here in the DFW area has been a bit lacking. Still, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

New Fit!!

Just purchased an '11 Fit Sport A/T. Already tinted the windows (50% front, 15% back... as dark as i could and keep it legal). I just drove it to work today and it averaged 42 mpg! Awesome... who needs hybrids?

2011 Honda Fit in Polished Metal

Just bought my 2011 Honda Fit base model in Polished Metal on 4/16/11!! I love it!! I originally was looking at a used 2008 sport with 17000 miles but it was listed for $500 MORE than a brand new base (all i cared about was the fact that it had the USB plug - very important to Iphone users)! Traded in my '04 Odyssey van with 116k miles that was getting about 15 mpg for this little nugget! After only 10 days and about 438 miles i am getting just about 30 mpg (total mix of suburban and highway) - totally happy and love driving my new baby! Can't wait to get off work and take her for a spin!

how does your all season mats fit in with those clips? I thought they tip of the clip is to meet the edge of the rubber section on the drivers mat...not overlap it.
With the clips already in the car, does that mean we can just purchase and slip in the Fit floor mats? Or will they need to be readjusted?

Just purchased a '11 Fit Sport AT last week. So far I'm liking the car for what I bought it for which was to stop driving my 2500HD Duramax for non-truck duties. Very easy to park and trips to the gas station will be a lot cheaper. Anxious to see what MPG I'm getting.

I traded my van for a Fit too.

Brand new to the forums...not much of a car guy to say the least, but I picked up my 2011 silver Sport A/T yesterday(18,500 OTD)and have to say I'm absolutely loving it, and dying to get off work just for the chance to drive it some more.

Like a few others I've seen posting, I'm definitely not that knowledgeable about working on cars, but the Fit has me curious to learn how to do minor fixes/repairs and know the ins and outs of this great car.

Picked mine up on 4 Jan for 17.6
2011 Sport 5 speed
I cant say that the fit is a bad car, but it is a transition coming from a 5.9 liter straight six that sat 3 feet off the ground, but hey, at least i dont have to pay $130 in diesel every week now

Last month got my AT Fit Sport in Taffeta White--$16,995 from Honda City on Long Island (their internet price) and got them to throw in a cargo cover. I just came from driving a 2002 Honda Civic SI and could not believe they would sell a car without the cover.

My dashboard says I'm getting 29.4 MPG, but when I gas up and do the math, it comes out to 26.5. Does anyone else have this problem with the numbers?

Great price on the Fit! My overall average from tank to tank is lower than the dashboard, too. The dash average is all over the place 28- 31 in town and up to 41 mpg highway--so I think the true average is better measured from tank to tank. the dash shows your average at the time of driving.

Soon to be Fit owner

Hello everybody..

I'm new to the forum and certainly glad I found it seeing as there is a lot of great people up here and a lot of helpful/useful info as well.. Anyway I'm in the midst of shopping for a new car(hopefully this weekend) and have narrowed it down to either a Fit or Civic.. My personal preference is of course the Fit..

I've just started to research and came across various forums with both positive and negative things written about the Fit.. Obviously I read about the recalls which to my knowledge doesn't include any of the 2011 models which is what I'm looking at. But I did come across a forum where people were discussing some kind of tire issues & it being really noisy when on the road.. Anyway does anyone have and info/thoughts regarding this?

Also I haven't decided if I'm gonna go with the Base or Sport... As far as what I've read it doesn't sound like there's any huge difference.. It seems like most of the people on here(from what I've seen so far) have the Sport So I'm just curious as to why most of you went with the Sport over the Base.. Any real benefit to getting that model? Obviously saving any amount of $$$ would be great. But if there's something about the Sport that makes it the better choice then I'm willing spend the extra cash..

And lastly anyone in the Bay Area? I'm on the Peninsula in San Mateo and wondering if anyone could recommend a dealer/location? It sounds like some people have had issues with certain locations. I originally went to Burlingame, the guy there seemed pretty cool for the most part so I'm most likely going back there unless someone else has a better suggestion.

Anyway sorry for the long winded questions.. But yeah if anyone could offer any advice/suggestions, etc.. I'd really appreciate it.. Either way I'm really hoping everything works and I end up with the Fit.. And of course if I do I'll be sure to let you all know & post pics... Thanks !!!!!

Hey there.. Congrats on the new Fit.. I'm heading out this weekend to check out some Fits as well and hopefully come home with one.. I see you checked a 08 w/17000 on it.. I'm just curious was that in Redwood City? I looked at one in RWC that was as well a 08 w/17000 on it.. Anyway it seemed appealing for about a moment and then when I checked out the prices for a new one I quickly changed my mind.. Anyway what location did you ended buying yours if you don't mind me asking? I've been visiting the Burlingame dealer.. Anyway again congrats..and enjoy!!
