very nice, the Crystal black pearl looks great!
how much was it?
looks like there's going to be a HUGE shortage of 2011 fits, dealer supply is shrinking fast.

Honda dealer just down the street has 31 Fits on the lot.
The same dealership in Houston has 11 Fits on their lot.

It is rare to see a used Fit on the lot as well around here.
The problem for me is that they ask almost the same price
for a used one as the new. For example, there is a 2009
Honda Fit sport with 30,000 miles they are asking $17,000
for down the street. I opted for new based on this.

I don't imagine Fits exactly go flying off the lots here in
Texas given the majority of folks here seem to be into the
SUVs, pickup trucks and large cars.

I think i paid too much. After stupid taxes and registration and all that, it was about $22k. Did I pay too much or does that sound alright?

Dang that Polished Metal Metallic looks hella nice!

That sounds a bit on the high end - I paid $19k OTD. Did you add accessories or anything? Check out truecar.com to find out relatively good base prices you should aim for on a new car.

I got a 2011 sport at in white for a little over $19.5 with all season mats a couple weeks ago. The one I got was 2 days new to the dealer. I started my drive home with 6 miles on the odo.

Oh okay -- yeah, with navigation, that would bump it up at least another 1k or so +tax. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

FYI, if your extended warranty was over $1k, Saccucci Honda Care quotes are going to be cheaper.

I've had my 2011 Sport M/T Polished Metal Metallic for 1.5 weeks now and love it. I've already put over 1k miles on it. Paid a little over $18k out the door.

I'm normally a fairly fast driver (CRX). This car has made me slow down so much, its startling. I am enjoying the 36mpg, though.

Gotta see if I can get some tint on it this weekend.

althought the PMM is a real nice color, I still luv the SSM, Silver Storm Metallic, I think that is best FIT Sport color ever.
just suits the car incredibly well. Surprised they discontinued it.

My thoughts exactly. I think SSM is just the best color on the 2g Fit.

I like PMM, but wifey's TSX is nearly same color so it was either Alabaster (2011) or CPO 2010 SSM w/ 5k on the odo. Guess which I purchased
Very glad I went w/ SSM....I keep checking out my car when it's parked at work silly I know.

Recent Earthquake in Japan will effect Honda inventory

definitely a nice touch!
keep the pics coming, looks like inventory for the 2011 fit sport is gonna be low until at least summer.
That recent monster earthquake in Japan is sure going to effect inventory on all Hondas.... not just the FIT. It might be whatever inventory that is already out at the Honda dealerships as well as those that were already loaded and being delivered on the sea cargo ships are the last of the inventory that we'll see for a while until Japan recovers.

I just purchased a new 2011 Taffeta White Honda Fit Sport GE8 with A/T and the full NAVigation package. I plan to do some mods and hope to learn from you guys as well as share my experiences with everyone. I'm located in Southern California and hope to hear from local FIT owners as well.

Here are some pics...
