Will it rub?

Will it rub?
I was just about to lower my car today but noticed my tires stick out more then the fender opening. The wheels are +43 and the tires are 205/50/16.
I also took some measurements and from the bottom of the fender opening and the top of the tire it's already about 1.5" The springs that I bought are Tein S-tech (about 1.5" drop). I just dont want to install the springs and have to remove them again.
The ruler is flushed to both top/bottom points of the tire
Any thoughts?

that's all it takes for rep nowadays?...
when i had my gd3 i was on eibach sportlines which have the same drop as tein's do except the rear had a lower drop. my wheel/tire size was 15x7 +40 on 205/50/15 and i rubbed -- front and back. the rear rubbed a lot, especially with passengers. GE fender wells are larger but the larger wheel with the 205/50 tire profile has the same space to wheel/tire ratio compared to my GD with the 15' wheel and 205/50 tire.
for the front i needed to pull back the fender lining and camber the wheels -1.5 degrees, the rears needed a mild roll. this was the most affordable way to fix the rubbing: camber bolts were $20 on amazon, alignment was free (lifetime alignment at america's tire FTW), and a friend of mine rolled my rear fenders for free.
luckily for you, you're in the center of all the socal FitFreak active users. most of them live in the south bay, OC, and SD area and are always willing to help! stop by the local forum and say hello
good luck

For reference:
GD3_Wagoon hello, welcome back! i remember your Fit too, it was TW right?
i remember mike too, i bought his pro-c's when he sold his Fit for the MS3
you'll notice FF is a different forum from when you left. i stay in the local socal sub-forum because everywhere else is just about new owners asking if their wheels/tires will rub lol

you say, "back to the thread." as if you were ever invested in helping in the first place. the only thing you managed to contribute here was a personal attack. if you have an issue with me try a private message instead of derailing the thread.

I've never had a problem with you. I'm sure you're a nice, knowledgeable guy that can contribute to fitfreak. If you don't want to be called out for something, don't do it.

Thats all it took because he/she was the only person to give me any advice with nearly 100 views.
Thank you for your advice as well.
Just in case if anyone cares, i lowered the car and love the stance...its absolutely perfect IMO. With my previous cars, I had to go with coilovers to get the stance that I wanted (less then a finger gap).
However, there is some rubbing/scrapping when I drive over dips while driving ~35mph. There isnt any obvious scrape marks on my tires or outer fender lip. I will have to take off my tires to inspect the whole fender lining for damage when I have a chance.
