There does seem to be lots of threads popping up of pipes with no videos or follow through on requests to add videos

Johnkimble - indeed, but dude only has 19 posts and was giving something back to the forum. Gently asking someone to post a video is much more civilized than deeming the thread "boring" simply because it doesn't have what a poster wants. Maybe i'm a sensitive cat, but Lord knows I don't want this to turn into HT! It's a slippery slope.

I can remember when I went to sites with political arguments and called my self a socialist as a means of relief from the lack of civility here.....It's been real nice here for quite a long time now.... I like seeing someone doing something to there car on the cheap and getting as good results as they would spending 2 1/2 times more.

dude the guy who did it hooked it up really nicely 140 for the muffler tip piping and flange when this magnaflow runs 130 alone

Magnaflow is generally my favorite brand of exhaust. That's my kinda sounding Fit! Had one on my previous ride, an SX4, and it sounded similar. This muffler, end engine, was a good deal bigger than the Fit but they seem to have the same overall low growl that the euro crowd prefers: YouTube - chief2001's Channel

I have a shop that will do this, with as many adjustments as I need to be happy, for $40. Can't beat that, with the price of these mufflers. This thread seriously has me thinking. Thanks for posting up the pics and vids. I hate the huge exhaust tips on most brand of aftermarket piece for the GE8. On the SX4, since it didn't have a on the model I bought, I just put a small piece of 2.25 straight out the back, flush with the bumper. Stealth.

Any noticeable gains, especially in mid range torque/response?

I feel I can comment, since I've been around these suckers for so long. If you leave the resonator, I bet you will barely be able to tell a difference from stock, and at the very least, conversing inside will basically be unaffected until you have to get on it. The OPs video includes an intake, which accounts for most of the noise. In my video, that is just the muffler, like the OP, and would probably be of similar volume. They are not going for "loud" with that company, and they certainly don't drone with the stock resonator in place.
