No MT w/ NAVI for 2011

Sorry if this is old news, but I just noticed that the 2011 does not seem to offer a MT with NAVI.

This page has a footnote (#1) stating that navigation is only available with an automatic.

This page only has a price for an automatic, and not a MT.

Bummer!

with VSA available on all trims now, the Nav trim is the biggest waste of $1500 ever!

There are way better choices with aftermarket nav units.

Only the 2009's had the pairing of Navi & 5MT. the 2010's dropped that option.

Agreed

Doubly Agreed.

With today's phones & even basic garmin/tomtom units being far more ahead of most every factory in dash navigation system, there's practically no reason to get an in-dash navi, especially since there is no bluetooth.

Aftermarket systems are much better as well and provide features that the sock unit does not. They, along with the garmins & Phones are much more likely to be updated than the stock HU.

like I always say... until factory navi get's into the ability and capability of an aftermarket standalone... you will never see one on any of my cars

It's disappointing that you can still only get the steering wheel mounted audio controls with the Navi . I know you can add it yourself later, but it seems like a huge pain.

I like my Nav...don't use it a whole lot (of course, don't use ANY Nav much), but love the integrated radio controls...esp. the fact that it is all OEM.

I like the Factory Navi, it is expensive, but it's 1000X better then any POS aftermarket Navi, voice recognition and touchscreen are awesome.
Ask anyone that owns the OEM Navi on a 2009 or 2010, it's awesome.

How did you get this? Cost?

Except when the OEM Navi is retarded. Like how you can't search for the nearest walmart; instead you must know if you have a WalMart, Wal-Mart, Wal Mart, Walmart Store, Walmart Super-center, Wal-Mart Supercenter, etc. You have to search through all possible variations of the name across the country. If you could limit it to at least the state or region you were in it might be excusable. And its not like its a new problem with Honda's navi software.

The OEM navi isn't awful, but it's lacking in some usability issues. Were the Navi not bundled with VSA when I got mine, I would have taken a hard look at some aftermarket options. For the extra $1000-$1500, you could afford quite a bit beyond the cheap-o crap navi units.

Please elaborate. How can you add steering wheel mounted audio controls to a non navi Fit Sport?

There's some instructions in this thread: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...-pictures.html

But if you look through it, you'll see that it's not so easy because you have to remove the steering wheel (which in turn requires removing the airbag)...

I saw that thread. It looks a little too involved. Being used to steering wheel mounted audio controls, I got my hopes up. I don't know if it's just me,but my right shoulder gets a little tired from fumbling with the radio at times. There was no way I was paying for the NAV,as it was way too much for what you get.
