New Fit owner

Hey I just picked up a fit last Saturday, so far the car has been pretty cool. The engine seemed to respond a little better after a few hundred miles on it. The thing I'm enjoying most is the 32mpg and$30 fill ups vs $60 in my previous few cars. I have some plans for the car, not sure exactly what but definitely wheels and suspension. I have ADD when it comes to cars so I ended up leasing the Fit for the $190/month deal from Honda, I'm at car number 16 or 17 so we'll see if i keep this car after the lease is up.

Its a stock Fit so not much to see

Current cars in my garage is my Turbo miata thats for track only

And a 530 that I may or may not keep, I havent decided yet

Some of my previous cars were:

350Z

E430

S2k

A4

Welcome to the forum.

I'm really digging the E39 (the BMW 530I). What is the year, name of that color, and does it have the optional sport package?

Its a 2001, I believe the color is Steel Blue Metallic, and up it has the sports package and its also a manual.

Since I got the fit I was planning on doing a lot more to the Bmw. Also trying to get back into stereo, I used to be a big car audio guy. My last stereo system cost more than the fit!

Nice, I think your E39 would be a perfect candidate if you do decide get back into audio systems since it has plenty room inside for a good system. Plus, its a luxury performance sedan so why not? It be a perfect weekend or formal occasion car.

Welcome to the forum! Nice previous cars. I always longed for an A4 Avant. How did the Audi treat you? Was it reliable?

Of all of those cars that I would have held onto, It would have been the S2000.

HA! you just asked if a German car was reliable! Thats the one thing I cant understand about the Germans, the plastics and components all start to fall apart around 80-100K miles.

They over engineer the hell out of the cars but they cant engineer plastics that lasts
