Throttle Control

So i recently bought a S Drive T/C and dont really know much about them so i had a few questions. I have been reading that ppl have noticed a big dif in the settings, i seem not to notice much. ive heard ppl saying that in a parking lot if or backing up or even on wet days that it may be intense. i dont really seeing it being a hazard in traffic or parking lot.i not sure what the display is suppose to display mine doesnt really do much may displays A15 or A20 i do alot of highway driving so maybe thats it? if any one can help or give my some input.thanks

The A display is the % of throttle opening I believe.

I have an auto and do not find it does much for me. I leave it in Normal mode most of the time.

Pretty simple to program but if you don't follow the steps exactly you can "program" it but it won't actually do anything. If you switch between any of the Eco settings to one of the higher Sp settings, say Sp5, you should notice a huge difference in the sensitivity of your throttle pedal. This is exactly what the TC does. This is how it can be dangerous in a parking lot for people who don't have good control of your foot because on the sport settings, you can easily press down on the throttle and go a lot faster than you had originally intended to.

OP you are asking about what is being displayed and not how to program right?

Mine works but when driving it will show the amount of throttle not what mode it is in.

If you hold the gas pedal at a certain level and toggle to a different mode you should feel either increase or a decrease in speed. If not then it is either broke or you did mess up the programing

a rule of thumb people have been going by so that the programming actually works is to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to let the ECU reset, install everything, then reconnect the battery. This will also get rid of the check engine light if that becomes a problem. THEN you can proceed with the programming as per the instructions.
