Trading my '09 S2000 CR Rio Yellow for a Fit!
Hi Everyone,
I have a 2009 Honda S2000 CR in Rio Yellow. I love the car, but my GF is making me sell it and pay off some debt before I can get my next toy. I'm being tyrannically forced into acting responsible. Anyways...
I'm getting a '10 Fit Sport with 5-speed manual in Silver Storm Metallic.
Here is the car I'm trading in on Saturday:

I'll post pictures of the new car as soon as I get it.
My question is THIS:.....
I still want a cool car, and the Fit rocks....but what should I do to immediately make it look a little better on a budget????
Thanks for all your help!
Don

^That is kind of where I'm heading. As a matter of principle, I won't ride bone stock, so I think I might do tint, some HID's, and maybe wheels and badges. That is all I have for it.
If I get really creative I will likely do coil overs...but I just don't have much of a drive to do any type of performance mod. The reason I'm ditching the SK2 is for economics/good gas mileage/etc, so there is no point.

You retrofit the HID's. And i think theres some options of lowering springs for the GE. (Tein, Eibach, Tanabe, Dropzone, T1R, and probably more..)

I know your pain man! I sold my 2000 Black S2000 with a 2004 Conversion about two years ago. Still miss it & envy other S2000 drivers on the road, lol. Just remember the Fit is only a 5 speed, haha it took awhile after the tranistion.

let's see...
Swift Springs Sport Mach - $254.25
HKS Hi-Power Exhaust - $295.00
Tints - $160-$180
Total: $709.25 - $729.25
you should get over your S2K quite nicely along the road with that budget
