Hey, can you tell me is these were generic to include a Civic (4X100)? I have a 2008 Fit and wondering if anyone has done the swap, pretty sure the 2000 and older Civics had the same bolt pattern, but what about the off set?
Mean looking winter ready fit you got there, mine is the same color, sport model

Without having Civic rims to check, I would say they would work. Chuck one on the front just to be sure they clear the rotors, and then you'd be good to go. I doubt the offset is out enough for it to matter. The generic fit 14" rims I bought have been through two winter seasons already. Very happy, and I like the slightly higher profile 14" tires to give you a slightly softer ride on the horrible rutted frozen roads.

Thanks for the timely reply, I got a guy here on Craigslist with 4 civic rims, 4 used Blizzak WS-50 snow tires for 2002 Honda Civic, I think the 2002 is a different bolt pattern.
I used to drive a SAAB 96 with 5.5" 15" snows back in the day prior to the metric radials (yea I am THAT old) it was a blast to drive in the snow, so far the Fit is a really nice car but horrid in winter (read no fun) with the stock OEM rim protector Dunlop's
BTW, that Saab was a 2 stroke 850 cc 4 speed on the column, with a freewheeling device, it was like you de clutched when you let off the gas, when it was engaged pretty cool for driving on ice.

The 6 volt booster car was mine. It had NOS bias ply radials, all of 5" wide. What a fun winter car that was. I have quite a bit of wheel time in the DKW. This video was the first time it (kinda) ran.

Sorry the video is so bad.

Civic used 4x100 up through 2005 so they should fit with no problem. im running integra 15" wheels and I know people who are running Integras with 15" civic wheels from a 2002+ civic.

Nice Bug, yeah I had my share of them (type 1 AND type 2) Bus. I worked as a import/ VW tech though the early 70's to mid 90's I am not familure with the DKW. Owning 2 Saab's with the 2 stroke, one a mix oil in the tank 1965, and the other a 1967 "oiler" injection, additionally I had a Saab 95 station wagon with the German Ford Tanus V-4 engine, that car lasted a very long time.
Interestingly the 850 2 stroke had a running issue where it would not run unless the choke was pulled out. On the side of the road I tore the top of the carb off and found that the float valve had become loose, effectively stopping the fuel flow into the Solex carb float bowl. the old 2 strokes had either electric or vacuum operated (pulse from crankcase) fuel pumps. My '67 96 Saab had a 3 carb setup, the '67 just one.
I didn't intend to hijack this thread and will post back on my challenge to fit my Fit with 14" civic wheels. I think a 14 x 165 winter tire would be the ticket to getting the Fit to be a true winter driver

I have not tried this yet, but I may. I found an on line seller I am not affiliated with them in anyway.

I just bit the bullet and bought snow tires for the 16" sport alloys. I will be buying new, 'summer' rims/tires come spring. I hate rolling around on steelies

There is only one snow tire made in the 185/55-16, which are the Blizzak WS60's. A good tire, so I went for them.

Lightbulb

I had Hankook Ice Bears on my old Mini and they were awesome tires, H-speed rated and I almost forgot I had snows on the car unless I pushed it very hard. I can tell you that the Continental DWS worked great on my Fit sport last winter here in Chicago and we had the 3rd snowiest winter on record, the tires amazed me and they're NOT even snow tires
