Paddle shift Fit discovery?

Paddle shift Fit discovery?
There was a thread a while back asking people to write in new "discoveries" they've found in our Fits. Well, I found something that I at least don't remember anybody mentioning.
We all know that we can either drive in D or paddle shift while in S. Well, did you know if you are driving in D and are looking for that little extra "oomph", you don't have to shift to S and then hit the paddles? Just start paddling away while in D! I tried it on the highway tonight just to see what it would do and it is awesome!
It will stay in "virtual shift mode" while you're actively shifting or accelerating and as soon as you decelerate, the gear indicator goes off, goes back onto "D" and it settles into the appropriate gear it thinks it should be in and it works at all speeds. Neat, eh?
Just thought I'd share and sorry if this is nothing new to the rest a ya'll.

Oh give me a break.
Before doing any work on your car, I suppose you read the factory service manual before asking your question here on the forum.
And before jumping on a computer for the first time, I suppose you also read Microsoft's manual as well as Windows/MAC for Dummies", right?
Grow up.
