Buying a Fit tomorrow...have until 12pm 10/29 to read your responses!!

Hey guys...I recently inquired about buying a fit through the Costco Auto Buying Program. I did a little bit of research and would like to have some input from you directly.

I'm looking for a 2010 Sport with Navi.

1. I'm buying the car to use as a Daily Driver. I drive about 2000-3000 miles per month. I will be driving city, highway, and in traffic. What is better to drive based on engine power response? Auto Or Manual? Sometimes I'm in a hurry and need the transmission that's going to give me a quick response if I have to downshift.

2. I'm in Los Angeles...what should be the Price I should look to pay before Tax & all? I don't want to have to call around and 'shop' for a better price. Who better to ask than you guys!

3. I want to get it fully loaded. I don't want to buy one and find out later that I missed out on an option. I don't know everything there is to know about it...so what should I be looking for if I want it fully loaded? A Code on the sticker or something?

4. If you've used the Costco program and got it fully loaded what did you pay?

5. Is 7-7.5% a lot for a financing rate on a 2010? That's what I was quoted over the phone credit app. Can I negotiate the rate??

6. I'm out of questions for now...BUT if you have something to add so I can lookout for to get or ask at the dealership, please let me know! Thanks!

...I'll post pics soon

Well you're in LA... depends on how quickly you get tired of MT In traffic. I'd personally opt for AT.

There aren't a lot of options on the models, base, sport, sport + navi.
Navi options is well the sport + navi and VSA.
VSA is the only option you can't add later on.
You're looking at about 2-3k over a sport price for the navi version.
I paid 16400 before TTL in Ca for a sport AT.
As for financing I think honda still offers 0.9%. 7+% seems high

I'd get a versa based on what you are describing. You seem to think of cars like appliances. The versa is definetly more appropriate.

cool thanks guys.

Damn 2-3K is a lot for factory Navi. Can the radio be replaced with an aftermarket? Is there a bezel they sell to adapt a flip out navi screen or double-din radio?

I'm guessing I can get a Kenwood aftermarket with Navi AND DVD for about a grand installed...??

Absolutely. There's 2 dash kits that I know of, Metra and Scosche and you can throw single or double din.

Depends on the Kenwood, but I'd be pretty sure you can get that with intallation if not below, close to a grand

I'll buy auto if I do alot of stop and go traffic

Navi only comes in auto

I just bought a 2010 fit and pid 600 below invoice and got 0.9% apr for 60 months

I would go to Honda and ask for Internet sales manager and tell them u r willing to pay 600 or more below invoice

Good luck

They are eager to get these '10s out of their lots...

Tell them you want that 0.9% or you'll walk. I didn't qualify for it but they worked with Honda Finance to get me that APR.

Don't fall for the extended warranty, Cilajet paint protection, and LoJack.

Cool...I found the Scosche Kit.

So I guess I'll go with the M/T Sport and upgrade the radio. Because I definitely need Bluebooth for my phone, NAVI for directions, and a DVD would be a cool extra.

Thanks SExDEVIN...I'll def find out about this tomorrow.
