OK, this is the Intellichoice calculation for 2010 models. All models are a good deal compared against similar vehicles. The Sport and SportNav versions depreciate faster than the base model.

As far as the stock nav? I haven't used it to compare, but have used aftermarket nav systems for years in other cars. It's a useful tool for highway trips - you can ping it for local eateries, services, attractions, etc, while on the go. I don't know if the Fit's Nav system includes it, but a modern nav system is worthless if it doesn't include real time traffic updates. In 2005, a Nav system sending you down a jammed freeway because it calculated that route as the theoretical best-conditions "fastest" was fine. Today, with real-time traffic data flowing through the ether, it's completely unacceptable.

I can see the value of the larger display, better iPhone interface, and VSA, but Nav as a selling point? After years of using Garmins, I just use iPhone apps now. Unless you're using it for traffic updates, you're never going to need Satnav in the local area, unless you are inept at finding your way about. Even if I need to find a previously unvisited address, it's quicker to simply look it up online, memorize the directions, and drive there paying full attention to my surroundings, rather than having an annoying little box give me instructions.

On the highway is a different story - it's nice to be able to use the distance calculator to estimate my time/distance to next rest-stop, checkpoint, and my ETA at my final destination.

Hey sorry guys I meant to post this earlier I didn't have a chance. I got a sport auto. I was amazed at the response of the paddles for shifting. That was my preference to get a stick.

I got the grey with 4 miles on it...+ 2 for the testdrive.

Paid$ 16995 plus tax n title and got a 7.24% rate for 60 mo. I had a bk discharged in march 2010 and have a 666 fico.

They reduced the warranty from 2499 to 1499 with the aaa discount. And increased coverage amount from from 100k to 125k 5 years. I have 30 days to decide if i want to keep it and can cancel it and get a full refund. You think it's worth it to keep?

Really excited about it. I Just think the drivers seat is a bit firm. Wish it had tilt or lower lumbar adjustment. But that's what my mercedez c class is for right? This car is just to drive for work.

Very nice!

There are some tricks to adjusting the driver's seat
- the angle can be changed by placing shims under the front seat mounts.
- the seat can have more padding added by buying just a cheap seat cushion at O'Reillys or Kragen, trimming it to the correct size, and placing it between the seat frame and cushion. The seat foam is rather thin, and I could feel the frame through the cushion.

Congrats on your acquisition. Silver is IMO one of the best colors for this car.

The windows look tinted in the photos. Are they?

No not yet I am actually going to do it on monday morning. 50 percent for the front windshield, 35 percent for driver and passenger, and 5 percent for the rest in the rear. It's freaking bright with out any tint.

I'm looking for a 2010 Sport with Navi.

1. I'm buying the car to use as a Daily Driver. I drive about 2000-3000 miles per month. I will be driving city, highway, and in traffic. What is better to drive based on engine power response? Auto Or Manual? Sometimes I'm in a hurry and need the transmission that's going to give me a quick response if I have to downshift.

2. I'm in Los Angeles...what should be the Price I should look to pay before Tax & all? I don't want to have to call around and 'shop' for a better price. Who better to ask than you guys!

3. I want to get it fully loaded. I don't want to buy one and find out later that I missed out on an option. I don't know everything there is to know about it...so what should I be looking for if I want it fully loaded? A Code on the sticker or something?

4. If you've used the Costco program and got it fully loaded what did you pay?

5. Is 7-7.5% a lot for a financing rate on a 2010? That's what I was quoted over the phone credit app. Can I negotiate the rate??

6. I'm out of questions for now...BUT if you have something to add so I can lookout for to get or ask at the dealership, please let me know! Thanks!

...I'll post pics soon
I think your financing is way too high. I got the .9% in July you might want to ask if Honda is bringing that program back. Credit Unions usually give you a better deal on financing.
I regret not getting the manual I am averaging around 31.5 mpg in my Honda Fit Sport Automatic. I drive around 2500 miles a month.

I don't see any Fit specials other than the recent graduate incentive program (0.9 for 24-60 if you have recently i.e. past two years, graduated from HS/college...)

How is <8% for a 660's FICO score bad for a loan without special financing offers?

Purplehondafit, check out the financing rate table that occam posted. It doesn't seem high. And besides interest rate doesn't change the payment much on$ 19k. I can afford it so i took to help my credit and then i'll try n refi with my cred union. They declined my application because of the recent bk. Its the cost of rebuilding my credit. I would've obtained a lower rate w wells fargo, but last month i bought a c class and they wouldn't allow a 2nd vehicle to be financed. Ill just make weekly payments and pay an extra couple hundred per mo. That'll save me on interest on the time being.

Or you can get padded seat covers. While it'll cost more, it'll be a bit easier to deal with. Plus, you get to change the looks a bit too.

Clazzios is popular. link <-- Though I'm not certain that's actually them or some 3rd party reseller.
Coverking has a few more material options. link

I got the Coverking (all black neoprene) through Costco's website (link). I had to look this up in my bank account, but apparently, I paid $350 for front and back seats. Consider that buying directly from Coverking would've been $625 (no tax and there's a $51 S&H to ship to me, total: $677).

I may do that eventually... But only if I pay it off - I need the incentive of not having car payments to ensure that I don't chase a momentary whim and trade it.

I paid cash for both of my motorcycles, but I need to keep building at least some type of credit.

As a personal rule, I won't finance anything but cars and houses... and I'm living in Cali only medium term, renting here.

if you're driving 2500 miles a month, the automatic gets better mileage then the MT, the MT has lower gear ratios and revs a lot higher then then 5SPD auto. I have both a 5Mt and now have an Auto Sport

\\Nice CAR ALEX, you should of gotten a lot better deal on the financing though! 7% is ridiculous.
SSM is the nicest color on the 09-10 fit sports in my opinion!
I paid cash for my 2009 Honda fit sport with Navi...11k with only 13,000 miles
