Hey my fellow fitfreaker's. Maybe someone has already done this and can help me is it possible to put s2000 or rsx seats ? Do i have to make a completely custom bracket or is it just a simple mod to the stock rails? any input would be great. Thanks

 

Not sure on this one. I know that the Civic Si seats will fit, someone on here did that a while back. I dont think it was a pretty simple install.

 

the civic si seats dont bolt in, they people who did it had to use there stock rails from the fit. so i assume it will have to be done for rsx and s2k seats. good luck.

 

Someone on this forum has done either one or the other (can't remember) already. The post isn't that old, but I can't remember who did it or the actual outcome of the seat swap. There definitely is a post of someone doing a seat swap though... sorry I can't remember who or what happened.

I should have subscribed to the thread... I was extremely interested in the seat "swappage" outcome myself.

Just do some serious forum searching, I suppose. If you find the thread then please post back here and let us know, and where it is... I will do the same if I get enough time to search and find anything. Like I said, I'm interested also.

Well, the first link could very well be the one I was remembering. If so, I guess the guy either never figured out how to do the swap, or he just doesn't feel like or have the time to post the results.

Although it seems to me I remember someone posting about a seat swap they had either already finished, or were in the process at that time of completing it. Seems I remember them saying they would definitely post pics soon. Someone else mentioned in a reply they were really anxious to see the pics because they wanted to do it also.

The post you linked to doesn't seem to have many of those characteristics!

Who knows... I could just be remembering incorrectly.

I remember this link too...I was eagerly waiting to see how it went. The last post he said he would have them on in 1-2 weeks.

I assume that the si seats are more comfortable than the stock Fit ones. Does anyone have an si that can speak to this? Are they more comfortable?

 

Wedge makes Seat Bracket for the GE... I'm going to order some for my GE
