A7 and ix20
I like to show off the Fit's interior volume by comparing it to the likes of this new Audi A7:
Behind rear seats: Fit:20.6 cu ft / A7: 18.9
Behind front seats: Fit: 57.3 cu ft/ A7: 49.1
And the Audi is over 34" longer than the Fit:

On another note, Hurricane Hyundai is arriving with a punch, including the new ix20. It looks to compete with the Fit. I'm liking the design inside and out, and the interior, unlike the over-hyped and disappointing Fiesta, is actually rich-looking:

fit vs A7 is not a fair comparison.
first, the fit is a hatchback and the A7 is a four door coupe( a la' MB CLS, VW CC)
second, your comparison is the equivalent to me comparing a Lamborghini gallardo's cargo capacity to the mini cooper clubman.
those two are completely different purposed cars such as the fit is to the A7.
if youre going to compare roominess it would be better off comparing an suv vs the fit.

No, you've obviously read too much into it. It's a novelty comparison. A WAGON that is over 34" longer than the Fit, yet the Fit has more room. That's a testament for Honda's packaging ingenuity, something you should be wary of.
People identify big cars with big room. The Fit debunks and contradicts this stereotype.

Hyundai is really making a big push in the automotive market (worldwide). I always expected them to come out with a luxury brand to compete with Lexus, Acura, Infiniti, etc. but I guess it's not the best time in this economy. But at least they have the Genesis and the new Equus.
