Lower seats?

Lower seats?
My other car is a Honda del Sol. The car I sold when I got this Fit was an EG hatch, with del Sol seats swapped in. Both cars lowered to the point I can reach out the open door and touch the ground.
I understand I will never sit "as" low in the Fit, but does anyone know of, or seen pictures of, any OE seat swaps that would get my butt down some? Or is there a way to get these seats to sit lower (ie a seat pan swap).
I feel like I am flying in this Fit, please help!

Slamm the Fit and maybe you wont feel as High. I know of a member here attempting to swap in 06+ Honda Civic Si seats in there. But other than that your only other option would be aftermarket seats like Bride/Recaro/Sparco.

lol it didn't really bother me before that i sat high, but now that i'm lowered and i STILL feel high... i can't stand it. i'm in the midst of ordering a new seat rail and changing the driver seat. once i finalize everything i'll definitely keep you posted on how it works out.

I have Recaro SRDs on BRIDE RO-type rails. The rails lower the seat height by 30mm/1" - very noticeable vs. stock.

I'm 200 lbs and almost 6' and don't like the confining feel of race buckets, plus I like the reclining ability of stock seats, as well as some cushion under my big ol butt. I also drive to Vegas every few months so race buckets for the 300+ miles does not sound too appealing.
Anyone attempt RSX or S2000 seats? I think both of the have the side airbags in them, wonder if the systems are compatible.

S2000 seats don't have side airbags... tho they are fantastic seats.

That said I've been trying to solicit any input from the North American guys who've pushed through with their seat swaps on how they "defeated" the seat airbag deployment...I was hoping to credit them and put it in my how-to. So far no cigar.
Only real method I know is to kill the juice from the battery I guess?

Not looking to avoid airbag deployment, unhooking the battery is a given, more looking to keep functionality after swapping to lower seats. Not sure if the sensors can be purchased separately and installed in another seat, or if they are removable without destroying the stock seat
