A new Fit owner from Argentina

Oh No! Watch out for the women folk and put the live stock in the barn... Wild Bill the rooster woke up with a woody. You've been thinking about that 48 Plymouth fastback with huge back seat again.... Yep that is what got you going.

It's the 1.3L that honda uses with it's IMA system... (just without the IMA & weight). Curious as to why Argentina (and other South American Countries?) label it as a 1.4L. It ain't no beast at the track but it'll take on many of the hybrids here in the US for economy. My 1.5 is getting 38+ lifetime and it's rated for 33 combined...? Imagine what this GE will actually get for lifetime economy. 44mpg, 46mpg... NICE!
They should sell the 1.3 here. I think TheEVILone would pick it up with his current economy

The MPG (converted, we use litres and kilometres) are oficial from Honda, I don't have enough time driving it to see if it's true or not.

We use metric, I did the conversion using 1 Gallon=3,7854118 Litres

Thanks for taking the time and having the skills and math skills to do that. That little engine does need to be available here. I am pretty sure it is the 2 valve 2 spark plug hemispherical head configuration motor... I had the heads on a Harley Davidson motorcycle fitted with second spark holes and it improved the fuel mileage big time... I tried to rep you but I need to spread some reps around and couldn't.
L13A i-VTEC
SOHC 16 valve i-VTEC
Displacement: 1,339 cc
Bore x Stroke: 73.0 mm × 80.0 mm
Horsepower: 73 kW (100PS) / 6,000 rpm
Torque: 127N m (13.kg m) / 4,800 rpm
We also have in Argentina the L15A7 (i-VTEC) version but it is too expensive for me, more than $23,600.- the diference are ABS, Disc brakes on the rear wheels, leather seats, auto climate control, 16' wheels, etc.

mirá que bien.
Mi mujer también nació en Estados Unidos y estamos pensando en irnos a vivir ahí. Nos gusta mucho, viajamos varias veces y pensamos ir en marzo de vacaciones.
