Brand New Fit - SRS light came ON during car delivery
Hello everyone,
I was going to put up a post here with pic of my brand new 2010 hondat Fit Sport Red.
But the wonderful experience of driving out the new car was tainted a bit.
The SRS sensor came on as soon as my wife sat on the passenger seat and I started the car to drive out of the dealership.
I called the dealer, and he tried everything from flipping the seats, to buckle/unbuckle the seat belt, but the sensor light would not go away.
Restarting the car multiple times did not help either.
The service dept was closing at that time.
I took the day off today to enjoy the little car, unfortunately, I will have to take the car to the dealership again today.
I am sure they will fix it, but just feels a bit down and odd to see a problem in a brand new car
just thought to share my experience with all of you who helped me with the decision to get this cool little car..

Yeah, its weird. Took it to the dealer. The light came on again after around 15 mins of driving and stayed on for the whole day.
The dealer will replace the seatbelt buckles this week. Just feels bad that a brand new car had a problem even before I drove out of the dealership.
Should I start researching the Lemon Law ?
