Just bought a 2010 Fit Sport (pics)

Hello everyone! I've really been enjoying the threads at this forum. I've learned a lot so far!

Anyway, I picked up my 2010 Honda Fit Sport Tuesday evening!

2010 Fit Sport
Blue Sensation Pearl
Automatic

Accessories (to be installed Saturday):
Door sill trim
Rear bumper appliqué
Body side molding
Mud guards
Cargo tray
All-season floor mats

I may also get the cargo cover at some point. I'm also planning to pick up door edge film and wheel locks eventually (sooner rather than later).

I didn't trade a car in with the dealer. Total taxable sale price (vehicle including accessories, delivery, and installation charges): $17,810 with 0.9% APR. I was previously driving a 1994 Mazda Protege.

Sorry the pictures stink. It was dusk and I used my phone.

get wheels locks ASAP! especially if you're parking it out on the street. i've seen too many threads of people showing their car on blocks.

oh yeah... congrats and welcome!

I'm sure it happens in my neighborhood but I haven't seen a lot of vehicle vandalism. I'll probably get the wheel locks this weekend. I have seen some of the threads here where cars are on blocks (or cars just on the road!) It's a tragedy!

There are a fair amount of newer-ish cars on my street. Mine is certainly a target but so are a lot of other folks.

I'm thinking of getting an i-vtec and fitfreaks.net decal for the window and maybe an Android robot too. I've been checking out Decal Dude's stuff. I don't want to get anything too gaudy

Looks good in Blue. Avoid the hi-way and you'll find that you're less likely to get stone chips.

I was going to trade in my 1994 Mazda Protege for $200 but my mechanic offered me $300 at the last minute. The dealer was more than happy to not have to deal with my POS. I kept the plates, sold the car to my mechanic and then put the plates on my new Fit. Technically I didn't trade it in...

nice! looks like mine!! lol..

Here's some hints to save you money and some headaches:

DO NOT BOTHER with the rear bumper applique. Seriously, it's a $50 piece of shit.

Upgrade your stock horn and install an accord horn (DIY thread in fitfreak.net)

hope this helps, and please post more pics!

The rear bumper appliqué is junk. I was pretty disappointed. Oh well, it is on their now...

This one looks better: 09 + Honda Fit Rear Bumper Protector

Also, I didn't end up getting the mud guards. Didn't realize they don't fit on the Sport. I might get the rear ones though (as they are compatible): Honda Splash Guards - Rear (Fit, Fit Sport) - Bernardi Honda Parts and Accessories

Honda Trunk Fold Out Protector

I put the applique on, but got this too: velcros to your trunk, then folds out and protects not just your bumper, but the lip too.
