Welp... I'm a new owner.

I just bought a Fit, last night. It's a silver Sport MT. It's my first new car that I'm buying and I think it's probably the best choice I've made in a long time. Normally, even after the other cars I've bought, I felt a little remorse the morning after. I have yet to feel it. I already LOVE this car.

Then again, it could be that I'm going from ~15mpg ('95 Impala SS) to double that.

By the way, does anybody else live in SoCal (OC to be specific) and know a good tint shop/person?

Lemme tell ya, the finance guy was a schmuck. I flat-out told him I didn't want a warranty or any of the snake oil he was selling and he refused to let me get through the signing without hearing prices. Then when I still said no, he turned into a total putz.

The salesman was nice, though.

Hi great choice of car and welcome to fitfreak.net. Now if you don't drive like you stole the car. You will be able to achieve more than double of 15mpg. Check the eco-fit discussion forum if you're interested on how to maximize your mpg.

I just graduated from CSUF; I taught math there for 2-1/2 years too. But yeah, I was gonna check the SoCal forums for meet-ups and whathaveyou.

whats up. i am also a new fit owner. ive had my CBP Sport MT fit for about a month now and already have 3k miles on it. i had the same experience with a annoying finance guy trying to sell me warranty and a 700 dollar factory alarm. lol anyway, there is a tint shop here in murrieta called VIP tint. they're pretty good. got mine done for 130 w/lifetime warranty. i only got the rear windows done though. i believe its 180 for all windows./

Congratulations.

My Fit is about 4 months old, and all I'd say is that it's so well designed from a utilitarian standpoint as well as just a fun to drive automobile that buyers remorse is hard to muster.

I miss not having a sunroof option, maybe adjustable or leather seats...but outside of that...and those are things I can do aftermarket....I think the Fit is a great automobile.

The carpet is cheap, and the seat fabric actually seeks and traps hair out from other dimensions and universes...but again I can address these issues separately.

I found myself mostly amazed at discovering more and more things I liked about The Fit with passing time...which IS rare when purchasing an automobile.
