Different wheel sizes.
Anyone out there run bigger rims of the same style in front than in back? Have pics? I.E. 16x7 in front and 16x6 or 16x6.5 in the rear? I'm thinking something like 225x45(50)r16 in front and 195x50r16 in back. Of course this will probably never happen because for some reason, at this period in time, everyone thinks fwd cars with rwd offsets look good and I'm too cheap to buy rims without a bigger bonus.
This:
not this:
But what about 195/50/16 in the rear and 205/50/16 in front on stock rims? (I'd prefer 205/45/16 or 205/40/16 to reduce the overall circumrence and increase the effective gear ratio but they are rated for 6.5 inch rims min. Has anyone tried 205/45/16 with any success?) I'm sure that would work, right? I've already got the 195/50/16s in the front but stock tires in back. When I get closer to winter I could buy the 205/50/16s and rotate the 195/50/16s to the rear? Any ideas?
